These Terms of Service define the rules for providing optical services, selling glasses, frames and contact lenses by the Vide-Optyk salon based in Wrocław.
The Vide-Optyk salon network includes two locations: Łokietka Salon (ul. Władysława Łokietka 14, 50-243 Wrocław) and Żelazna Salon (ul. Żelazna 48, 53-428 Wrocław).
Vide-Optyk salons provide: vision testing and correction fitting by an optometrist, eyeglass frame and contact lens selection, glasses service and repair, lens mounting, and retail sale of optical products.
Vision testing is performed by a qualified optometrist. If conditions requiring medical intervention are found, we recommend consultation with an ophthalmologist.
Orders for prescription glasses are fulfilled after a vision test or based on a current prescription (not older than 2 years for adults).
The order fulfillment time is usually 5-10 business days, depending on the selected frame model and type of lenses. We will notify you of order readiness by phone or email.
Complaints regarding product and service defects are accepted at Vide-Optyk salons or by email at salon@vide-optyk.pl.
The complaint resolution time is 14 business days from its submission. You will be notified of the decision by email or phone.
Ready-made products (off-the-shelf glasses, accessories) can be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they show no signs of use. Prescription glasses made to individual order cannot be returned unless the defect is due to a salon error.
All products come with a manufacturer's warranty (usually 12-24 months). We provide a 6-month warranty on service and assembly work.
The warranty does not cover mechanical damage (breakage, scratches) resulting from improper use, or wear and tear.
