An eye exam fitted to your day

Are you seeing less clearly, getting tired eyes, holding text farther away or finding night driving less comfortable? In our Wrocław salons we will check your eyesight and explain clearly what will be comfortable for you: glasses, contact lenses, lenses for screen work or an ophthalmology consultation.

1

More than reading letters

We ask when your vision bothers you most: at the computer, while reading, driving, studying or wearing your current glasses.

2

Clear recommendations

After the exam you know whether you need new correction, different lenses, contact lenses, glasses adjustment or further consultation.

3

Fitted to real life

We choose lenses differently for a driver, a screen worker and someone who constantly switches between near and far distances.

We start with how you really use your eyesight
From conversation to decision

We start with how you really use your eyesight

A good device measurement is only the beginning. First we talk about what exactly is bothering you: blurred vision, headaches, screen fatigue, difficulty reading small text, weaker vision after dark or glasses that are no longer comfortable.

Then we check visual acuity, current correction and how your eyes work together. This means we do not choose lens power in isolation, but in relation to the situations where you actually use your vision.

  • Computerised eye measurement (autorefractometry)
  • Distance and near visual acuity testing
  • Assessment of eye cooperation and visual comfort
  • Conversation about glasses, contact lenses or lenses for work
When is it worth booking an eye exam?
Signals from your eyes

When is it worth booking an eye exam?

Do not wait until vision is clearly worse. Often the first signs are eye fatigue, squinting, headaches after work, difficulty focusing at the end of the day or needing stronger light to read.

After the age of 40, presbyopia naturally appears: near vision becomes harder. If you hold your phone farther away, remove glasses to read or search for a better angle, an exam will help choose a comfortable solution for near, distance and screen work.

  • your current glasses are no longer comfortable
  • your eyes or head ache more often
  • you see worse after dark or at the computer
  • near reading requires more effort
How to prepare for an eye exam
Before the visit

How to prepare for an eye exam

Bring your current glasses, last prescription or contact lens packaging if you use lenses. Tell us when vision bothers you most: in the morning, after work, at the screen, after dark, while reading or driving.

If you have sudden vision loss, eye pain, flashes, floaters, trauma or strong redness, start with an ophthalmologist. An optometric exam helps choose correction, but it does not replace medical diagnosis in urgent symptoms.

  • bring your current glasses or last prescription
  • describe when the image becomes less clear
  • with contact lenses, bring packaging or parameters
  • with sudden symptoms, contact an ophthalmologist
You leave with clear information, not only a prescription
After the exam

You leave with clear information, not only a prescription

After the exam we explain what the result means and what next step makes sense. Sometimes adjusting current glasses is enough; sometimes you need a power change, computer lenses, progressives, contact lenses or an ophthalmology consultation.

When examining a child, we also look at everyday signs: squinting, leaning over notebooks, reluctance to read, rubbing eyes or getting tired quickly. Children who need cycloplegic drops or medical treatment are referred to an ophthalmologist.

  • discussion of results and recommendations
  • glasses or contact lenses fitted to real needs
  • information on when medical consultation is needed
  • tips for observing visual comfort after changing correction
