First visit
What contact lens fitting looks like
We start with an interview and exam. We ask about screen work, sport, air conditioning, allergies, dry eyes, medication, current glasses and whether lenses are for everyday, occasional or specific activity use.
Then we check eye parameters, tear film and trial lens fit. Power alone is not enough. Base curve, diameter, material, lens movement and comfort after several minutes all matter. At the first visit you receive a free set of trial lenses matched to your eye parameters.

Distance and near
Multifocal lenses: near, intermediate and distance in one lens
If you increasingly hold your phone, menu or book farther away, but still want good distance vision, multifocal contact lenses may be a comfortable solution. One lens supports near, intermediate and distance vision.
This is often a good direction for people with presbyopia, usually after 40. During fitting we check eye parameters, choose addition and lens design for your day, teach application and schedule a check-up after first wear.

First application
We teach insertion, removal and hygiene
If you are wearing lenses for the first time, we reserve time for calm instruction. We show how to wash hands, remove a lens from the blister, recognise the correct side and insert or remove it without hurry.
After first wear we schedule a check-up. We assess comfort, sharpness, eye response and whether the wearing mode suits your day. If needed, we change lens type or parameters.

How should I prepare for my first contact lens fitting?
Bring your current glasses and latest prescription if you have one, skip eye make-up before the training and tell us about allergies, dry eyes and any medication. Allow extra time, as the first visit includes an unhurried tutorial.
When is the follow-up visit?
After the first period of wear, usually after a week or two. We check comfort, sharpness and how the eye reacts, and change the lens type or parameters if needed.
Do you fit multifocal contact lenses?
Yes. Multifocal lenses help you see near, at intermediate distances and far, most often for people over 40. We choose the addition (low, medium or high) and lens design, teach you how to use them and book a check after the first wear.
